INSTRUMENT MAN / PARTY CHIEF

PRE/CEG seeks an experienced crew chief/instrument man for our Tucson location. Responsibilities will include field calculations, boundary, culture, topographic and construction surveying. The successful candidate will be skilled in the use of GPS, data collectors and total stations. A minimum of 5 years experience as a crew chief or instrument man is required, as is a valid driver’s license.

Applicants are expected to have excellent verbal and written skills, as this work will require regular interaction with clients and contractors. This is a permanent full time position. Salary would be commensurate with experience. The firm offers a substantial benefits package including paid holiday, vacation, sick leave and health insurance.

 

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN

PRE/CEG seeks an experienced construction materials testing technician for our Tucson location. Responsibilities include field density testing of soils and asphalt, field sampling and laboratory testing of soils, asphalt, concrete, mortar and grout in accordance with ASTM standards. Work will also require completion of percolation tests, as well as field sampling and logging of geotechnical drill holes. A valid driver’s license is required.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of prior experience in a similar capacity. Applicants are expected to have excellent verbal and written skills, as this work will require regular interaction with clients and contractors. This is a permanent full time position. CIVIL DESIGNER

PRE/CEG seeks an experienced civil drafter/designer for our Avondale location. Responsibilities would include civil improvement plan preparation and survey data drafting. Projects are typically commercial/industrial private development projects, but can range from custom single family homes up to master planned developments.

AutoCAD civil 3 expertise is required. The successful candidate would have 3-5 years or more of relevant experience with similar projects in Arizona. Applicants would be expected to work with a small group under the direction of a licensed engineer. Salary would be commensurate with experience and skill set. The firm offers a substantial benefits package including paid holiday, vacation, sick leave and health insurance.

 

LICENSED CIVIL ENGINEER

PRE/CEG seeks a licensed Civil Engineer for our Avondale office. Responsibilities would include design and calculations for civil improvement plans, project reports and construction administration. Projects are typically commercial/industrial private development projects.

AutoCAD, project management and client relations experience are beneficial. The successful candidate would have 5-10 years of relevant experience with similar projects in Arizona. Applicants would be expected to work with a small group of designers and drafters to prepare design documents. Salary would be commensurate with experience and skill set.
